Welcome to the Country. I just wanted to share with the city folks why country living is so great. When you wake up in the morning out here you smell the fresh air and forest dew. You hear the birds singing and the roosters crowing. When night falls you are surrounded by billions of bright stars and if you stare at the sky long enough you will no doubt see a few of them shooting across the sky.
How long has it been since you saw fireflies? We see them almost every night. It is very rare that we suffer from boredom, but if the itch gets to us we just take off to the river for a little fishin', or hit the forest for some horseback riding or four-wheeling.
I work exclusively in the rural areas of North Florida and love to get the opportunity to show off what I consider to be the most beautiful part of Florida. My home town is Baker County, Florida. We are blessed with many natural beauties out here such as the Osceola National Forest, the St. Mary's River, the Great Florida Birding Trail, Ocean Pond and the historical Olustee Battlefield.
